Introduction

The Greensboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is developing a safety plan for Greensboro, the towns of Summerfield, Sedalia, Oak Ridge, Pleasant Garden and Stokesdale, and much of unincorporated Guilford County.

The Safety Action Plan aims to create safer roadways by understanding the underlying causes of traffic incidents and developing effective interventions. This study is vital for reducing fatalities and injuries, enhancing the quality of life for residents, and promoting safer, more efficient transportation networks.

  • Analyzing crash trends and conditions
