We’re creating a Transportation Safety Action Plan for Telluride and Mountain Village to make it safer and easier to walk, bike, roll, ride transit, and drive year-round. The plan combines crash data with local knowledge to pinpoint where safety issues happen most within your community. The result will be a prioritized list of near-term fixes and longer-term projects.

Your input guides the plan. Use the map to drop a pin where you feel unsafe or where a small change could make a big difference, such as crossings, lighting, speed management, congestion, parking issues, snow/ice operations, or wayfinding. Share what you experience in peak seasons and on school or commute routes, and sign up for updates as draft ideas and concept designs are posted.

Instructions

Click “Add Marker” to drop a pin where you see an issue or opportunity. Add a short description and choose the best category:

  • Driving – speeding, visibility, intersections
  • Biking – missing lanes, unsafe areas
  • Walking – sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting
  • Transit – stops, shelters, connections
  • Parking and Congestion - unsafe parking, congestion at intersections, congestion leading to back ups
  • Other – anything else

Your input will help the project team identify and prioritize community concerns in the final plan.
